Each week a new workout will be dedicated to a topic such as posture, stretching and strength training. The Health and Wellness Group will also be posting tips for how to stay motivated while at home, how to modify a workout according to fitness level and others. Their aim is to educate their followers on the role of physical therapists (PTs), where they work when to reach out to a therapist and the importance of PTs in society. The campaign will culminate during National Physical Therapy Month in October. "This is a great way for our students to be creative while maintaining the high standards of physical therapy education and reaching out to the community," said Nikki Gawronski, P.T., D.P.T., assistant professor of physical therapy and co-director of clinical education, who serves as faculty advisor for the group. Members of the Health and Wellness Community Service Project Group D.P.T. Class of 2022 are: Kyro Barsoum, Kaitlyn Bernard, Gaia Bouchard-Hall, Rebecca Conte, Caitlin Guida, Seigen Kubota, Dennis Liang, Kelsey Lynch, Cindy Marji, Heather O'Rourke, Peter Paluch, Sophie Pielka, Adonijah Smith, and Alexa Trontz.
